Here's Why Europe and Asia are Coming Together and Ignoring Trump

If you want to know why Europe is turning to Asia -- and Asia to Europe -- in light of Trump's trade policy, look no further than this map. Europe and Asia already trade more with each other than either does with the US -- and the gap is growing rapidly. This is already true today even before the Belt & Road Initiative really kicks in with new transportation corridors, and before new trade agreements take effect. A decade from now, Euro-Asian trade could be $2.5 trillion, and America's role in global trade will continue to shrink even further. Much more on this in my forthcoming book The Future is Asian.
