Los tiempos son de zozobra y las primeras infraestructuras que anuncian algunos nuevos líderes son muros, pero Parag Khanna señala en Conectografía que el impulso del mundo es el contrario: el adagio que advierte que la geografía es el destino, y que hay países condenados al fracaso por el clima o la falta de mar, se está quedando obsoleto. Gracias a las infraestructuras energéticas y de comunicaciones globales, la nueva máxima es que la conectividad es el destino.
