Interview with Marty Moss-Coane on Radio Times/NPR Philadelphia

NPR |

Geo-strategist Parag Khanna looks around the world and sees echoes of the Middle Ages, with both West and East powerful, Middle East sheikhdoms, powerful city-states, wealthy multinational corporations, religious zealots and more. But in his new book, How to Run the World: Charting a Course to the Next Renaissance, Khanna says that a new Renaissance can follow once again, provided the recent examples of successful progress and modernization are heeded and “mega-diplomacy” is practiced in a borderless world. That’s especially important as new nations are formed, as in the independence referendum in South Sudan, and as a revolutionary fever roils the Middle East, from Tunisia to Egypt to Yemen. He’s our guest on today’s Radio Times. (And the World Affairs Council is bringing him to Philadelphia next month.)
